This e-zine is about the activities and interests of the St Julian's Theatre Ensemble, founded in 1999. It includes archive
material of productions we have mounted and links to our favourite sites. Articles and interviews are written by students
and do not reflect any editorial viewpoint. You can particpate in our online blog by following the link below. We invite
all members of the community and further afield to respond to our work. We just ask that you keep your entries polite!
HIs dark materials
The most ambitious project in recent years was
this March's production of Nicholas Wright's adaptation of the Philip Pullman novels. For further details visit the HDM website.

Romeo & Juliet
Our production last year was a promenade production of Romeo & Juliet. The play took place in a number of sites
around our beautiful grounds ending up with the final scene in the Main Hall.
Our most recent high school ensemble production was Illyria by Bryony Lavery in December 2004. For production
pictures follow the link in the navigation bar. A DVD of the production is also available - drop me a line if you are interested.
The Middle School production was Love is a Many Splendoured Thing and as soon as we have a spare moment we will be
producing a DVD of that too.
ISTA Festival in April 2005
We'd lieto thank all tose who helped make the recent ISTA festival here a great success.
Thanks to those who helped with hosting, with concession stalls and chaperoning the social event. Details of the festival
can be found at
http://stjuliansensemble.tripod.com. A compressed video of highlights should be there pretty soon.
The ensemble runs a newsletter too called Theatre
Matters. For the online version click on the following link:
